Around 1 in 4 (25.5%) adults living in the ACT have had a mental health condition in the last 12 months.

In 2022-23, 82% of people living in ACT had a Medicare subsidised appointment with a GP. 

In 2022-23, there were 62,702 Medicare subsidised services provided by psychologists in the ACT.

In 2022-23, 14% of people living in ACT saw a GP outside of normal work hours.

In 2019, 2 in 3 (67%) First Nations people in Australia reported having a long term health condition.

In 2018-19, 21.1% of First Nations people living in ACT reported they avoided going to a health service because it was not culturally appropriate.
